We had a very busy weekend.  It started Friday night when Mom stayed with the boys and Mike and I went to a Christmas party.  It was nice to have a night off and to get to spend time with friends.  The food was wonderful and we had a good time.

Saturday was…  CAMDEN’S 2ND BIRTHDAY!

I cannot believe that he is already 2.  He loves Blue’s Clues, as previously mentioned, so we decorated in that theme.  Lots of family (and Christi) showed up and we had fun grilling out, eating cupcakes, and watching Camden get very excited over all of his gifts.  He threw down his doggy towel and body slammed it first and then he showed everyone how much he enjoyed his other gifts by clapping, saying Yea!, and dancing.  He also really enjoyed his singing birthday card from his Maw Maw and Paw Paw.  Last year that was by far the hit gift.  A day late he got his gift from GiGi and has been “Pay with Hanny Manny and Tools” all day.  I think his biggest gift though was all of the family and friends that he got to play with.

Sunday was… Jackson’s Baptism. 

I was so glad that we got to have his baptism yesterday because it meant that my sister and her family were able to attend since they were already in town.  Mike’s brother and sister-in-law also came down for the occasion.  It was really special and went superbly.  Jackson could not have behaved better.  It was also the Sunday of our church’s Christmas Cantata, so the church was full and the mood was festive.

Both of our boys make me so proud and they are both growing so fast.   If I could save time in a bottle…
