Here here. Very well put and I completely second everything you said. The financial bailout made me madder than heck and the fact the congress is even thinking about bailing out the auto industry fires me up even more. Does anyone bother to ask where congress is getting the money - don't they remember that we have the largest deficit we've ever had. Last I checked, the general population (the ones that supply the money) are pretty cash-strapped right now. They are going to bankrupt our country for an outdated industry with an even more outdated employee base. The unions need to wake up and smell the coffee - they aren't competing with each other any more, but with other countries. I laughed when the unions said they were putting their "foot down"... and not making any more concessions - really??? Wow. Their stubborness and short-sightedness is going to put their entire industry out of business. RRRRGGGG.

And what about that oh so helpful financial bailout. The money was supposed to be used by banks to help them start lending again to get the wheels of commerce moving. But no, they are hoarding they money and using it to buy up other floundering banks AND to pay their oh so valued executives millions in retention bonuses so they can help stear the banks through these rough waters (which by the way they created). Citigroup just went on a bank buying spree and is now laying off over 50,000 employees???? Huh???

Its official, the inmates are running the asylum.

BTW - great article on how we have become more socialist then the dreaded French. http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1843168,00.html

OK, I'm done now.
